With less than an hour to go before the transfer window slammed shut Bolton finally confirmed the signing which had been the talk of the town all day, that of Mohamed ‘Medo’ Kamara. With the 25 year old’s contract with Partizan Belgrade due to expire in the summer he was snapped up for reportedly little more than 6-figures, a considerable saving on the £16m Spurs were rumoured to have rated him at last year whilst looking to replace Luka Modric.

On the basis of that alone it’s a move Bolton fans can be excited about, and Medo (pronounced ‘Med-o’) seems to be raring to go at Bolton saying of the move: “It’s every players wish to be in the top clubs in the world, & Bolton is a top club.”

Before arriving at The Reebok to dot the i’s & cross the t’s on his new 3 and a half year contract Medo was asked what he thought of the Wanderers. “It’s a big club, a good club. I think last year they dropped down in the league, but still, in The Championship is a strong league so it’s good for me, for me it’s a big club.”

Despite the anticipation Medo’s not taking anything for granted, and just seems to want to give his all.

“I hope I get myself a position to play[...] I will try to help the team as much as possible, um, to come to the [Premier] League & play again in the [Premier] League, if not whatever what happen. I just wanna go there & do my best, that’s it”

Give us your all & help us back to The Prem & you’ll fast become a fans favourite Medo, welcome to Bolton Wanderers!
